The artwork
One number. A lifetime of memories.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær, Manchester United and the year 1999. 20LEGEND builds a portrait around a Norwegian chapter that became part of Manchester’s history.
A classical portrait meets a darker alter ego, with graffiti, raw marks and references to 1996–2007. At the centre sits the year that never quite leaves: 1999.
A work about identity, timing and the moment a player becomes bigger than the number on his back.
