The hand leaves
its own mark.
CANVAS EDITION begins as a canvas print. ISARK then works on each piece with POSCA paint markers. Lines, colours and hand-applied details give each piece its own character.

ISARK is an independent Norwegian art studio. Thomas Kristensen creates the work under the artist name ISARK.
Each image is released in 25 prints in 40 × 60 cm and 25 in 60 × 90 cm, giving 50 numbered pieces in total. Hand-finishing adds individual character within the edition.
Black frame included. Delivery time is stated for each artwork.

About CANVAS EDITION
What is a Canvas Edition?
A canvas print individually hand-finished, physically signed and numbered by ISARK. The base image is printed on canvas; the hand-applied details are added afterwards.
Does each piece have individual details?
Each piece has individual details. Colours, lines and finishing may vary. The image is released in a limited edition; the work is not sold as an original painting or as “1 of 1”.
Is the work physically signed?
Yes. ISARK physically signs and numbers each piece. The number identifies it within the image’s edition for that size.
How do ART PRINT and CANVAS EDITION differ?
ART PRINT is ISARK’s work on paper. CANVAS EDITION uses canvas, is individually hand-finished and includes a black frame. Each series has its own edition.
Why does delivery take longer?
The canvas print goes to ISARK for hand-finishing, signing and numbering before it is sent on. Delivery time is stated for each artwork.
Is the frame included?
Yes. A black frame is included in CANVAS EDITION.
What does limited edition mean?
Each image is released in 25 numbered prints per size. With two sizes, that gives 50 prints in total. The number belongs to the edition for that size.
